Perched on a hillock , The vibe of the place was so serene that it actually calmed me down from the moment I set foot there. The place is done up with immense love and patience and definitely great taste. It shows in each detail that is scattered around the place. This is the most private place – no prying eyes to watch the inhabitants. The welcome isolation of this solitary structure is very surprising as it is not very far from the heart of this tiny hill-town, yet it feels like its set way apart from the hustling crowds of weekenders..This place is textured in its layout with surprise elevations and depths. Exploring the place is exciting and will keep you mesmerized for a long time..This is a place I would want to have as my own… and I am glad that the owners are willing to share the joy of living there with interested patrons.

A home built sometime in the 1980s reminiscent of a stone structure. The whole contruction has been done with the stone unearthed from the property itself.

The interiors of the Bungalow89 is done in a very earthy Mediterranean style . The Bungalow is tastefully done with a keen eye for detail and fine aesthetics . White washed stone walls , woodwork, accents of vibrant furnishing and accessories adorn this place .

Ample of green spaces

Chipring birds , the tree tops and sunset will leave you overwhelmed at the Bungalow89. Outside the Bungalow, the terrain is akin to wilderness, tamed yet wild enough to give you a gush of adventure. The uneven landscape is retained to the extent possible.

An enchanting getaway to unwind with family and friends from Mumbai hustle-bustle! Great spectacular views from this vacation home. Whether you want to find a solitude spot and be one with nature or spent quality time with your loved ones, there is place for all. My family surely plans on visiting The Bungalow every time I visit India. Thanks to the Ashleys for sharing their space!

A beautiful getaway to relax amidst the hills of Lonavla and spend a luxurious weekend , I highly recommend it as an ideal and peaceful vacation. Having spent about a week in Bombay (as fast paced as it is) the escape to the beauty of The Bungalow was a welcome change , recommended by a friend , it was one of the best part of my entire trip. I had a really beautiful time there and recharged my batteries . A part of my next trip will most certainly be a long visit to The Bungalow 89.

We booked this villa for a weekend through Vista Rooms and had a great stay here. The villa is situated on a hill and the view from the house is just amazing. Extremely spacious house which can easily accommodate 10-13 people. The villa has lots of open space in the front to play outdoor games. Very well maintained property which is equipped with amenities. The balconies provide a great view of the natural landscape. We had a very relaxing experience.

Had a great 2 nights stay at bungalow 89, one of the most priceless views you will get in entire india. The place is very well done up, the quiryky small things add flavour to the place. Like the men climbing the wall was superb, we spent hours in the balcony areas, the rooms were huge and well done up. I would love to visit again, its being as close to nature as possible.

Had an amazing weekend in Lonavla , all thanks to this property ! The view from this property is just amazing. The house is also nicely done up and very spacious. Perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. Highly recommended

This place leaves me in awe and reminds me of the lines by Pico Iyer – We travel, initially, to lose ourselves; and we travel, next to find ourselves. We travel to open our hearts and eyes and learn more about the world than our newspapers will accommodate. We travel to bring what little we can, in our ignorance and knowledge, to those parts of the globe whose riches are differently dispersed. And we travel, in essence, to become young fools again- to slow time down and get taken in, and fall in love once more.
